Where answers come from

Yogoose's answers are written by open-source AI models. While Yogoose is in beta, most answers come from models hosted by our AI partner (Groq), which receives the question and the web pages used to answer it, and nothing else about you. The rest run on Yogoose's own servers. Each answer shows which model wrote it. We never send your searches to an advertiser.

No ads, no ad tracking

We don't show ads, don't build an advertising profile, and don't sell your data. Amazon links may carry our affiliate tag; when they do, we say so on the page.

Your "sites you visit often" memory stays on your device

When you click a site from Yogoose, your browser remembers it so that typing its name next time takes you straight there (after 3 visits). That list lives only in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device, and you can erase it here:

Location

We use your time zone or an approximate location from your connection to show local weather, times, sports teams, and nearby places. Precise location is used only if you tap "Use precise location" and your browser asks your permission; it's stored in your browser and sent only with the searches that need it.

What our servers keep

• Searches are processed to answer them and kept in short-lived caches (minutes to hours) so repeat questions are instant. We don't tie them to an account; there are no accounts.
• If you press 👍 or 👎 on an answer, we store the question, answer, and vote to improve the AI.
• Standard server logs (for security and rate limiting) are kept briefly.

Other websites

Links, images, videos, and maps come from their original sites (for example YouTube, Amazon, and OpenStreetMap), and those sites have their own privacy policies once you visit or play something.
